Lovaeta’s love of locs and natural hair started long before she loc’d her hair in 2010.
With an African-American and Ghanian background, love of the cultural significance and beauty that locs are rooted in, and the determination to welcome and connect individuals within the diaspora to their culture, she gave life to LOCnificent Fest.
Her mission is simple;
Amplify, Build Community and Connect.
