LOCnificent Fest was birthed in Brooklyn, NY in 2018.

since then, culture unloc’d has curated both stimulating and unique events that highlight and celebrate the cultural wealth that exists amidst the locs and natural hair that connect us.

WE’RE DEDICATED TO:

1. Challenging misconceptions and negative stereotypes associated with locs/dreadlocks and natural hair in an informative and entertaining manner.

2. Supporting Black + POC (people of color) entrepreneurs in a collective effort to foster sustainable growth and awareness within the natural hair community.

3. Fostering a diverse group of individuals with varying hair textures and shared values.
